Gaian Calendar
Apr. 20th, 2013 07:49 pmGaian years and months are counted differently to their Earth equivalents. I've put together a list for both, filling in the gaps and basing Gaia's counted year names off of the counting method of the Chinese Sexegenary calendar. Like the Chinese calendar, both parts of the name change each year. Crystal North is followed by Diamond North-East and then by Ruby East etcetc. The numbers in the table show the order in which the years are named.

Zaibachans also have an additional way to count the years, based on how long Dornkirk has reigned over the Empire.

Backtagging: If it's been over a fortnight since the last tag I'd rather let the thread drop
Threadhopping: Actively encouraged.
Fourthwalling: No. Also, please don't tell him he looks like an anime character.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): If there's suicide plots, don't involve Dilandau at all in the leadup or aftermath.

Hugging this character: If you're quick enough to catch him unawares, expect a violent reaction unless he's really distraught over something.
Kissing this character: He'll accept worshipful kisses to his boot or to his glove if the giver doesn't get too familiar. Springing something on his face without his explicit permission will result in a violent reaction.
Flirting with this character: Yes. He'll accept all admiring gazes and comments as his god-given right for being so gorgeous, but anything too aggressive will be sharply cut off.
Fighting with this character: He'll fight with glee. If you're not supernatural you'd be hard pushed by him, since he was raised as a soldier and is very good at his job. If you are supernatural, let's talk first about how your victory will go.
If your character knows how to use a sword he'll be looking for sparring partners.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Yes. Broken bones, deep bruising and severely weakening him are fine. If it's anything that'll leave permanent scarring, only if you're willing to accept the full consequences of the warning at the bottom.
Killing this character: Yes, but talk to me first before we go down any roads that'll lead to this. Heed the warning below.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes. Be warned, if he realises someone is actively reading his mind he'll try to kill them unless they prevent him. He's prejudiced about people who are able to poke about inside his skull.
There's a wall in his mind behind which his alternate persona is locked. Your character can realise the wall is there, but won't know the extent of what's hidden or be able to see what's behind it, since opening the wall eradicates Dilandau.
Warning: Dilandau is incredibly vengeful. If you do him a bad enough injury he'll stop at nothing to get his revenge. And if there's no way he can harm you? Then he'll destroy your friends, your family or your personal possessions until he finds a way to repay the hurt with enough extra that no one would dare cross him again.
